Dr. Ayra Sayyed
Research Coordinator for Padula Rehabilitation Technologies,
Dr. Ayra Sayyed is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. Dr. Sayyed has completed RJ Apell and C. Nelson Residency in Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation (2020) at the Padula Institute of Vision in Guilford, CT. During the residency, she presented cases and research projects at various Brain Injury Rehabilitation conferences, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association conference, and International Lyme and Associated Disease conference. Dr. Sayyed has lectured about Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation at various local organizations.
Dr. Sayyed has completed her Fellowship of American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 2021. Currently, she is a candidate for Fellowship of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (FNORA).
Dr. Sayyed acts as a Research Coordinator for Padula Rehabilitation Technologies, she has assisted in researching and creating new Optometric Rehabilitative Technologies. She has been a research coordinator for VeyeZERTM, and is also working as a Medical Consultant to SphereGen Technologies in New Haven, CT to develop Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality Diagnostic and Rehabilitative devices.
Dr. Sayyed served as a secretary in the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, organized a medical trip to Nicaragua and many volunteer events within the United States. Dr. Sayyed is an active member of American Academy of Optometry and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, American Optometric Association, Connecticut Association of Optometrists, and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH).
